Aleksandar joined the School of Chemistry at the University of Lincoln as an Associate Professor in Analytical Chemistry in September 2022. He studied Physical Chemistry at Belgrade University, Serbia and obtained BSc in 1997. Following a three-year-long tenure at Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection Co, Serbia as a Consultant in Chemistry, Aleksandar pursued postgraduate studies at Auburn University, USA. He obtained PhD in 2005 for the work that contributed towards a better understanding of the response mechanisms of ionophore-based sensors.
